About Me

Born in the lush South American country of Venezuela and raised between NYC, Caracas and Los Angeles, Flor developed a visual palate that nourishes and guides her artistic career. Driven by an adventurous and curious spirit Flor has traveled extensively, residing at various times in many cities around the world. Currently she divides her time between London and Miami. Each habitat has enriched her art with unique revelations, color palettes, organic geometries, concluding in balanced harmony.

Flor is a self-proclaimed perpetual student of life and art- with a background of formal studies that began in interior design, then liberal arts at Bennett College in Millbrook, NY, moving on to NYC to the renown Parsons School of Design, and later at The Brentwood Art Center of Los Angeles.

 

Flor has exhibited in such keynote cities such as New York, LA, London, Brighton, Cadaques, Istanbul, Caracas, and Miami, receiving rave reviews while engaging her humanitarian concerns with links to charity organizations. Flor is a firm supporter of helping those in need and has championed activism her whole life focusing on children.

Nacida en el exuberante país sudamericano de Venezuela y criada entre Nueva York, Caracas y Los Angeles, Flor desarrolló un paladar visual que nutre y guía su carrera artística. Impulsada por un espíritu aventurero y curioso, Flor ha viajado mucho, residiendo en varias ocasiones de su vida en diferentes ciudades del mundo. Actualmente divide su tiempo entre Londres y Miami. Cada hábitat ha enriquecido su arte con revelaciones únicas, paletas de colores, geometrías orgánicas, concluyendo en una armonía equilibrada.

Flor es una autoproclamada estudiante perpetua de la vida y el arte, con antecedentes de estudios formales que comenzaron en diseño de interiores, luego en artes liberales en Bennett College en Millbrook, NY, luego se mudó a NYC a la renombrada Escuela de Diseño Parsons, y por ultimo en el Brentwood Art Center de Los Ángeles.

Flor ha exhibido en ciudades clave como Nueva York, Los Ángeles, Londres, Brighton, Cadaqués, Estambul, Caracas y Miami, recibiendo críticas muy favorables mientras aborda sus preocupaciones humanitarias con enlaces a organizaciones benéficas. Flor es una firme partidaria de ayudar a los necesitados y ha defendido el activismo toda su vida centrándose en los niños con necesidades especiales.
